This process involves stripping the valve down to bare casting to determine its rebuild feasibility. With a one-hour charge for this process, we will produce a quote for the balance of the cost to refurbish and return.
The complexity of water chemistry can cause internal erosion of parts and the casting itself. In the case of seals and spacers in the piston bore, erosion of casting lands can prevent new seals from sealing and cause unwanted water migration between chambers.
