Signal
Timers
The normal timer
operation takes its signal for regeneration to begin from a control
valves gallon meter that reaches a set point or a time clock that has
reached the appointed day and time. This regeneration cycle may be for
immediate regeneration or in some cases delayed until a specific time of
day. In the case of the 3230 signal start timer the signal for
regeneration to begin comes from a remote source. This source will
provide operating voltage to the timer for enough time to allow the
control valve to lock in the operating power (6 minutes) and complete
the regeneration cycle. CAUTION: the control power and the
operating power need to be from the same source. Check wiring details
before connecting.
Often used with PLC units
that would control numerous factory operations.
